At CCC we want to disciple our young people to become authentic followers of Jesus, living out a real faith in their own lives, friendships and schools.
Junior YF
Our Junior Youth Fellowship group is for those in P7 to S2 and we meet on Sundays during the morning service.
We initially meet with everyone in the auditorium for a time of all-age worship, and then we breakout to the downstairs room in the Church House. We enjoy games, hot chocolate, and studying the Bible together.
As well as our weekly Sunday meetings, we organise regular social events throughout the year – please see the weekly update emails or social media pages for more details of what’s happening.
Senior YF
Our Senior Youth Fellowship group is for all in S3-S6.
SYF meet at the church building or in church members’ homes on Sunday evenings, 7:30pm-9:00pm. Each week is a little different but regular activities include Bible studies, creative prayer nights, hearing testimony from different church members, question and answer evenings, worship and social evenings. We always end our evening with supper, provided by different host families from the church.
As well as our weekly Sunday meetings, we organise regular social events throughout the year – please see the weekly update emails or social media pages for more details of what’s happening.
Youth Club
During term-time we run a Youth Club for those in P7-S2 in the Church House.
Youth Club meets on Tuesdays, 6:45pm-8:00pm and welcomes a large number of youth from the local area. Activities on offer include table tennis, pool, air hockey, football, Nintendo Switch, crafts and other games. Each week we also explore a different aspect of the Christian faith.
A sign-up ahead of time is required, please contact Helen for more details.
Mentoring
Our Youth Mentoring programme is open to all young people of S1-S6 age.
An adult from the congregation will commit to meeting with you approximately once a month to chat, study the Bible, pray, and support you however they can.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults is of vital importance to us. We go to great lengths to make the Church at CCC an environment where everyone can thrive.
We have a regularly updated safeguarding policy that is implemented to ensure our staff and volunteers are trained and committed to working together to build an environment and culture that is safe.
